COVID-19 Grocery Response NDG is an initiative of the Ageing + Communication + Technologies (ACT) project at Concordia University, the CIUSSS West-Central Montreal, and New Hope for Seniors Centre, working in collaboration with the NDG Senior Citizens Council.
The project is currently being adapted to the Montreal neighbourhood of Peter-McGill and in the municipality of Côte-Saint-Luc.
Organizers
ACT is a research project that studies the experiences of ageing with the proliferation of new forms of mediated communications in networked societies. ACT is based at Concordia University and funded by the Social Sciences and Research Council.
The New Hope Senior Citizen’s Centre’s mandate is to provide seniors with accessibility to community life and to help fight against and alleviate isolation amongst seniors in the NDG community.
